La Quinta By Wyndham Buena Park, La Palma

My first stay at La Quinta Suites was quite a change from my usual place at Doubletree, spending most of my time in bed in the very clean room with a fridge. The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional and made our stay special. The location was perfect for exploring the area, being walking distance to Knotts and Disneyland, although a bit further from Knott's Berry Farm. The dining experience, while offering a typical La Quinta breakfast, lacked some hot options, and the elevators needed maintenance.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were unexpectedly spacious and had an adequate bed with plenty of pillows. They were very clean, and the pleasant scent added to the comfort. I loved the privacy provided by the multiple doors separating the bedroom, bathroom, and sitting area. The service was generally excellent, with polite and friendly staff. However, there was an unpleasant incident where the staff seemed confused about our prior clearance to bring our 3 dogs despite it being on our reservation. The location was convenient, with easy access to fast food without driving, but it got quite crowded during checkout time. The dining experience was decent, but it could use some variety, especially for longer stays. The facilities were top-notch and well-maintained. Overall, a great stay with minor hiccups.

I chose to stay at this hotel because of its perfect location surrounded by food places and close to the freeway. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh, which was a plus, but they looked bigger than they actually were. The service was kind and accommodating, and I loved that the entire hotel is non-smoking. The dining experience was a bit lacking in variety, but overall, it was a decent stay with great location benefits.
